WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT ME
• I am 23 years old.
• I've been playing since I was 14.
• I play because I enjoy writing. If you're looking for smut I'm the wrong person to ask (I will write sex scenes, but I have no interest in lines revolving solely around them). If you aren't willing to deal with me occasionally getting carried away and writing a lot, try someone else.
• I enjoy threads and aim scenes equally. There are days when I get so involved in aim that I really don't have the time to reply to my threads. Similarly, there are days when I'm so absorbed in my threads that I never come off away on aim. If you can't deal with me missing a day here and there, look elsewhere. I will tell you if I'm going to be gone for anything longer than 24 hours, or (worst case scenario) I will apologize for my absence when I get back.
• I'm human. I need to sleep. Sometimes I mess up. I'm not perfect. I also have a job, and thus you will occasionally be waiting several hours before I can get to you. I'm not ignoring you, I just haven't had a chance yet!
• First and foremost, I am a writer. I suffer from writer's block periodically. I will always get to you as soon as I can, but I'm not going to force myself and wind up sending you a shoddy product. I'm pretty sure you deserve better than my worst.
• I try to be intelligent about things. If a line takes place during a time I'm not personally familiar with, I research it. I'm not saying I'm the best, but I know my characters. While I do still slip up now and again, I would really appreciate it if you put the same effort in. I respect you and I try to give you my best, so please do the same for me.
• I am very flexible. I don't mind changing plots or brainstorming. I'm not going to attack you if you tell me you're tired of something. I'm not going to get mad if you decide a line isn't working out. It's not the end of the world, so don't be afraid to come to me with your new ideas or your concerns.
• I write het and femme. I enjoy them both equally, but I almost never do slash. You'd be better off not asking me to do it at all.
• I won't write out rape, abuse, or incest, but anything else is pretty much fair game. I can handle other dramatic violence (within reason).
• If you don't have examples or you're trying something for the first time I have no problem giving it a go. I don't usually ask for examples anyway. However, I don't mind showing you mine!
• I'm really only interested in doing Harry Potter and original plots right now. I'd love a femme line or two, but you should be warned that I prefer supernatural stuff (regular life tends to bore me pretty fast).
• HARRY POTTER
Harry Potter is the fandom I first started playing in. I've been writing in this particular fandom since I was 14, so I do have a good deal of experience. That said, after a long break, I'm brushing back up and trying to get into it all over again. While this is definitely my favorite fandom to play in, I prefer pairings that are unconventional and come with built in drama.
I'LL PLAY (listed in order of comfort/enjoyment): Draco, Ginny, Remus, Narcissa, Hermione, James, Harry, Severus, Tom Riddle. I'm definitely willing to try new characters, so don't be afraid to ask! I also love to write next gen, so Scorpius, Lily, James, Albus Severus, Rose, Victoire, Teddy, etc. are all options.
PAIRINGS: Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Draco/Luna, Draco/Astoria, Ginny/Harry, Remus/Narcissa, Severus/Lily, Scorpius/Rose, Teddy/Victoire and I'm totally open to other pairings. If there's something you're looking for, go ahead and ask! I am very open to discussion. I enjoy writing friends and family lines as well.
I LOVE: writing marauders era, writing hbp/dh style draco, draco after the war. more tba.
